we will gladly answer any question, however trivial you may think it is.
What do we need to bring in terms of bed linen, towels, cleaning product?
We have two options with Bedding - You may take your own to save you money or pay for linen at additional cost of £20.00 Duvets (Quilts) and Pillows are supplied Free of Charge - you choose whether to take your own pillowcases and duvet covers.
Towels are not provided and we ask that you take your own.
We ask you to leave the caravan as you found it and the cleaners will be in after you checkout to clean the caravan for the next guest..
We do leave hand soaps, washing up liquid and toilet rolls at the beginning of the season. but there is a big chance that the guests before you may not have replaced them after they have used them, so you may need to use the on-site Spar for these products or take your own.
If you do use the products provided on arrival, please top them up before you leave, for the next guest.
Caravan is fully equipt with plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, cups, pots and pans for 6 people.
Gas Oven and Lounge Gas Fire is supplied by piped gas so no need to worry about changing gas bottles.
Caravan is Fully Centrally Heated with Radiators in all rooms - Hot water supplied by Gas Combi-Boiler - Not like the old days!
Can we bring Dogs?
Although Dogs are allowed on the site, our caravan does not allow any pets of any kind - Sorry.
Unfortunately we also have an allergy to dogs, so we cannot make any exception to the rule, therefore we have to insist that no dogs or any other animals are allowed in the caravan. If you have a dog - please enquire with us and we may be able to find you an alternative caravan on the site via another owner.
Can we smoke in the caravan?
There is a strict NO SMOKING policy, not only in our caravan, but all caravans on site. We also ask that if you do smoke outside the caravan, please use the private car park spot on the front of the caravan, away from the entrance to caravan and gas pipes at rear.
Please also remove any cigarette ends after your stay - as the cleaner or park attendants wont remove them - we have to.
Do we have to pay a deposit and how do we get the keys and park passes?
We ask for a £100.00 "non returnable" deposit, for us to reserve your required dates, with balance paid 6 weeks before your arrival.
Keys will be available from the Key Safe outside the caravan and we will give you the code the night before arrival.
If you have chosen to have Guest Passes, these must be collected from reception and payment made direct to Haven on arrival.
We don't take payment for Haven Entertainment Passes.
What electrical items are available to us?
The caravan is fully equipt with 40" TV in the Lounge with DVD Player and a selection of DVD's. We also have a 19" TV in the Master Bedroom. In the Kitchen we have a Kettle, Microwave, Toaster, DAB Radio and full size Fridge Freezer. We also have Bluetooth Sound System available in the Lounge area. A Hair Dryer is supplied in the main bedroom.
We don't not supply Iron/Ironing Board on the advice of the park, as there have been previous guests who have left the iron on, resulting in fire within the caravan. If we supply an iron, our insurance will not cover us for fire due to neglect by guest.
Can we park by caravan or do we need to park in car park?
Our caravan is situated on a prime area of the site called Rookery Ridge, therefore you have one private car space towards the front of the caravan which is tarmac. We kindly ask that you not to park on the grass at the side of the caravan. If you have more than one car, park in front of the first car on the tarmac, as long as you don't obstruct the road itself, or you can park on the main car park by reception if you have more than one car.
